Kids Toy Storage

If you have children with lots of toys then finding ways to store their toys becomes an essential task pretty much as soon as you have that first baby shower. Kids storage bins are an option and we have an entire page detailing that choice. On this page we'll feature a few other options such as better shelving in the closet, toy boxes, storage benches and bongo buckets.

The bongo bucket is a collapsible cylinder that is surprisingly sturdy. We have a yellow duck one in our youngest son's room. It holds a huge amount of toys and when he goes to pick one the sides collapse down with his weight as he bends over the container. It never falls enough so that things come out, yet it allows him safe and easy access to his toys. They're very neat.

Toy boxes are a common choice and have been for many generations. We have a few of those two. You can get them in nearly any material from wood to plastic and in a host of shapes, colors and sizes. Finding one is merely a matter of heading to your nearest toy store.

Storage benches are little more upscale option, as the bench itself looks more like it would hold your shoes but instead you can stuff it with toys. They are decorative, usually a solid white or brown and when the kids have outgrown their toys you can turn it into a more functional household storage bin.

Here's a feature of the bongo buckets we mentioned, they cost about $15-$20.
